More than a year has passed since Hyundai unveiled its Veloster coupe little odd. At Detroit salon show now performance version Veloster Turbo with 201 horsepower!
Once again, a so-called embargo is broken prematurely. It was just yesterday that we were able to show the first photos of the new Dodge Dart, and now the first pictures of Hyundai Veloster Turbo leaked. Throughout a day early!
Updates on the outside involve a fairly extensive body kit (at least to come from the factory) with spoiler, front and back. Even interior noticeable turbo version with a change of certain materials to the sportier side and sports seats with "Turbo" embroidery.
Under the hood, the 1.6-liter engine from the standard Veloster received 63 new horsepower, thanks to the turbo feed, and now have 201 instead of the standard 138 horses. The torque has increased from 166 to 266 newton meters. The weight increases from 1172 to 1270 kg. Competitors to the Veloster Turbo gets example Mini Cooper S and Volkswagen Golf GTI. For us learning model later this year, although we do not know for sure yet.
