Football stars of Inter Milan have had their new Volvos

Javier Zanetti chose new V40

The players of FC Internazionale have long been accustomed to tune Volvos. Now the football club had their new vehicles. Among those who chose the new Volvo V40 is the team captain Javier Zanetti. The XC60 is the most popular model among the Inter Milan player - others preferred XC90 and C70.

Volvo Auto Italia and FC Internazionale has had an ongoing partnership since 2007. Volvo has followed the Milan club by a 100-year anniversary and success on the football field, including victory in Chamions League. Since the partnership began, Volvo has launched a number of new models - and in december came Michele Crisci, Managing Director of Volvo Auto Italia, Appiano Gentile, northern Italy to update the player's Volvo Fleet.

Among the 25 pending the stars was the club's president, Massimo Moratti, who had chosen a Volvo S80 to himself. Among the players, however, was the Volvo XC60 the most popular model. A majority of crossover drivers had chosen to D5 Summum equipment levels.

Of course, even the new Volvo V40 model represented. The challenger in the Golf class was preferred among other things, the team captain Javier Zanetti. Among the other players chose many Volvo XC90 and the C70 convertible. The most popular colors were Black Sapphire and Ice White.

One of the reasons that FC Internazionale chose cooperation with Volvo is that the automaker shares many of the club's values, including a focus on safety, environmental, reliability, respect for tradition - and an openness to new technology. For Volvo forms partnership with Inter only part of the car manufacturer's commitment to sport. Volvo Cars include sponsorship of the Swedish Football Association and the Swedish Biathlon Federation. On top of this, major initiatives in world golf and sailing - including the Volvo Ocean Race, the world's premier ocean race.
