2014 Ferrari F150 Enzo |
Ferrari model range expands constantly and several new models and versions are in the pipeline. But any suv it will never be. However, a more spacious California - and a new supercar of course.
German Auto Motor und Sport has had a little chat with Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo on the Italian carmaker's future looks like.
Montezemolo made it clear that Ferrari continued to be a pure sports car manufacturer and therefore it is impossible that they would produce a sedan or a large sedan. These two car types do not fit into Ferrari brand and the feeling it wants to convey. Two-door coupes should be.
- You need to know if you want to cook pasta or fish, he says metaphorically.
Instead, sibling brand Maserati been asked to stand for luxury sedans and SUVs. The former is already in the Quattroporte while the SUV is a little further ahead in terms of Kubang.
For many years it has snackats much on a new entry-level model from Ferrari, a car that is often referred to as Dino and is paired with a six-cylinder engine. This talk has been just simply talk. Here's what Luca di Montezemolo on the matter:
- A small and inexpensive Ferrari is not a Ferrari - hence basta!
However, what is relevant at Ferrari is more model variants of the bestselling California is and will remain the brand's entry-level model. Luca di Montezemolo mentions that a four-seater variant California's plans.
When Ferrari Enzo-successor came up said Ferrari boss that it introduced next month. So we can look forward to new Ferrari super top model F150 (masked in the picture above) back in February.
Note that the model designation F150 is Ferrari's internal model designation and the official Ferrari outside walls may be named differently considering Ford and their pickup F-150.
Now when you go in expecting, you can still your nerves to read our test drive of Ferrari's most powerful car ever, namely F12 Berlinetta.
