American Motor Trend put the new SRT Viper to the test at Laguna Seca circuit, and it turns out that the "old man"Corvette ZR1, which was launched in 2009, is faster.
The difference was small but clear: Corvette ZR1 passed the course at 1:33.70, a new track record. SRT Viper GTS run at 1:35.77. It is still the sixth fastest car that Motor Trend driven at Laguna Seca, and the time is better than both the Ferrari 458 Italia, Lexus LFA and Nissan GT-R.
